Report: Pre-commercial version of webServices platform
This deliverable summarizes the current state for the PVSITES platform for webServices and its related exploitable results such First User Stories and illustrates its graphical interfaces and makes a statement for the very early pre-commercial version, as for November 2017. It characterizes the distinctive functionalities, connections, maturity levels and steps needed to maximize exploitation, market uptake and commercialization of the online platform.
DownloadReport: E-catalogs of BIM objects for the PVSITES products
Summary of the state of the digital catalog - eCatalog - of PVSITES BIM objects for the PVSITES products in its pre-commercial version and its related exploitable results as for December 2017.
DownloadReport: Specific monitoring plan for every PVSITES demonstration site
The document specifies the Measurement and Verification Plans (M&V) to deploy for each pilot site and it establishes the specific details associated to each demonstration building. The M&V plans presented in this deliverable have been prepared on the basis of the works conducted so far on the BIPV design and implementation and on the energy management strategy.

Report: Baseline assessment of the demo sites
This document provides the synthesis of the monitoring conducted during the baseline period of the PVSITES project meaning before the installation of the BIPV systems in each pilot site. The main results in terms of energy consumptions and indoor environmental conditions are presented for each of the six pilots.
DownloadReport: Installation and execution of monitoring of BIPV systems
The document reports the installation of monitoring equipment that was conducted in the pilot sites to establish the baseline situation of the sites in terms on energy performance and indoor environmental conditions. The document also presents the monitoring equipment that is planned to be deployed in addition to assess the BIPV systems performance. This equipment will be deployed at the same time or just after the BIPV systems are installed in the pilot sites.
DownloadConference paper: Overview of PVSITES objectives
This Open Access paper supported the presentation of the PVSITES project at the Sustainable Places conference (Middlesbrough, UK) in June 2017. It summarises the project goals and expected impacts.
DownloadReport: Prototype of BIPV simulation tool - Second version
This deliverable presents the PVSITES software tool prototype state as of December 2016 and its exploitable results. It characterizes the distinctive functionalities, connections, maturity levels and steps needed to maximize exploitation, market uptake and commercialization of the software suite.
DownloadReport: Prototype of web services platform - First version
Summary of the state of the PVSITES platform for web services in its preliminary prototype version and its related exploitable results, as of December 2016. The report characterizes the distinctive functionalities, connections, maturity levels and steps needed to maximize exploitation, market uptake and commercialization of the online platform.
DownloadArticle: On the analytical calculation of the solar heat gain coefficient of a BIPV module
This open access peer-reviewed article describes a new analytical calculation method to characterise the solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of glass-glass photovoltaic modules for building integration. The proposed simplified calculations avoid the need for complex iterative procedures to solve the non-linear equations of the thermal balance and allow the use of standardized or design values for the involved physical parameters. The paper is authored by T.Baenas and M.Machado and was published in Energy and Buildings 151 (2017) 146-156. It can also be read online.
DownloadReport: Energy audit of PVSITES demonstration buildings and identification of BIPV possibilities
For each demonstration site this report provides a description, a pre-audit of energy usage, and a pre-dimensioning for the BIPV systems and energy storages to be installed. Electricity production estimates are provided. The pre-dimensioning phase considers several installation configurations and proposes a preferred layout. This work is to be considered preliminary with changes likely to occur before real-life implementation.
